YOUR
MENTAL
HEALTH

Appeal

Hello. I am Vadym Bondar, founder and head of the public organization "Your Mental Health", an expert in the field of mental health, coach-consultant using cognitive behavioral therapy tools, member of the Ukrainian CBT Association.

We work on deep psychological recovery of veterans after their return from the front. Unfortunately, the existing support system often does not ensure their full rehabilitation, and many veterans are forced to overcome their difficulties on their own.

Each veteran has their own unique experiences and psychological demands that may be related to physical injuries, loss of comrades, exhaustion at the front, and more. In addition, common problems include anxiety, PTSD, panic attacks, sleep disorders, relationship problems, loneliness, hopelessness, alcohol and substance abuse, and others.

We have developed a unique 10-component program for the psychological recovery of veterans, which integrates the best global practices. Among them are American programs for the recovery of warriors after 20 years of wars in Afghanistan and Iraq (PRP, MRT), which have been passed by millions of US veterans. For this purpose, we also consulted with leading American specialists who managed these programs (Martin Seligman, Peter Schulman, Charles Hoge).

Mission and Goal

We support each veteran in solving his psychological problems so that he can not only successfully adapt to civilian life after the front and be psychologically stable, but also have a fulfilling personal, social and professional life. This is the basis of good mental health.

To do this, we want to create a modern Center for psychological assistance to veterans, where the best psychologists will help veterans so that no one is left alone with their problem.

Work areas with veterans

Each veteran has their own unique circumstances and requests, and we always focus on those when providing assistance. It is important for us to understand the main problem or problems of a person in order to find the most effective ways to solve them together with him. In particular, we work with the following components of the psychological recovery of veterans:

Cognitive: manage your
own thinking, work with
your own thoughts
and beliefs

understand your feelings,
emotions and reactions
and manage them

Master class on stress resistance and resilience

In cooperation with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the representative office of the World Health Organization in Ukraine and the 16×9 Video Content Agency, we have created a masterclass from a series of videos dedicated to stress resistance and resilience. ICTV2 TV channel provided media support for the project.

These videos show effective methods for coping with stress and anxiety, problem-solving strategies, and deep approaches to resilience. By practicing them, everyone will be able to develop psychological resilience, overcome difficult situations and move forward.
